Pukeora Vineyard Lodge (Group Accommodation)
The accommodation facilities can be hired independently from the convention venue as a self-contained lodge. The café is also available for meals/drinks by arrangement.
Two of the three wings (Tukipo House and Tukituki House) have stunning cliff top views from the lounge, verandah and some of the bedrooms. The third wing is contained within the venue surrounded by landscaped courtyards.
Pukeora Vineyard Lodge comprises:
- A number of twin/double/single bedrooms with en-suite basin (sleeps up to 38 people/wing)
- TV lounge/dining room. Mixture of easy couches/easy chairs and dining tables/chairs, tea/coffee & toast facilities with sink and fridges
- Lounge has access to the verandah with outside seating from which to admire the views
- Self contained kitchen with 2 stoves, toasters, fridge, microwave etc.
- Bathrooms (generally across the corridor from the bedrooms) with 4 showers, 4 toilets and a bath per wing available and plenty of hot water.
The cost (to 30.6.11) is $35 per person per night for double/twin and $45 per person as a single room (bedding/towel included). These room prices assume booking is handled by hirer. Please add $3 pp/n for administration charges when Pukeora Estate is managing the bookings on an individual basis.
Generally a minimum booking of 15 people is required per group.
Note: Vast quantities of hot water are heated via the large boiler which requires a long warm up period.
Please Note:
For large groups, some guests may be asked to please bring towels, sleeping bag/duvet. (Pillows+cases and bottom sheets are provided)
The current accommodation configuration is:
- Tukipo Wing (Pukeora Vineyard Lodge) - Self contained 19 bedroom unit with kitchen.
- Tukituki Wing - Another 19 bedroom unit (without full kitchen facilities).
- Maharakeke Wing - Quite basic accommodation. (beds for up to 38 people)
