This wine shows a golden coloured hue. The aroma expresses lemon, quince, a chalky minerality with some gentle oak undertones. On the palate, this wine exhibits a lemony backbone, hints of honeyed nectarine with some chalky minerality, hints of oak and finishes long.
This wine was made from hand harvested fruit. The grapes were pressed, the juice cold settled and transferred to French oak barrels for a slow wild indigenous yeast fermentation. Left on lees in barrels for 9 months (25% new French oak). Bottled in Jan 2020.
Alc 14.4%. Contains 8.5 standard drinks. Residual sugar 1.1 g/L. Cellar up to 5 years.
