Pukeora Estate Range Pinot Noir 2015

A typical "pinot" with a leaning towards the "savoury" flavour spectrum. Moderately complex, lightish colour showing cherry and strawberry fruit with spice aromas  leading to a palate showing strawberry, cherry fruit with a hint of smokey oak, some mineral notes and a long finish.

A truly hand-made wine. The grapes were hand picked, destemmed then hand bucketed to open vats. Cold soaked for a few days, then fermented with hand plunging. Aged in French oak barriques for 9 months (33% new oak).

Alcohol 14.9%vol     Standard Drinks 9.2       750ml.

Cellar 7+ years.
